Official Terms & Conditions

1. General Terms

By participating in this Giveaway, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Terms & Conditions.

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

This Giveaway is hosted solely by Focus Group by Sago. This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram or any other social platform.

2. Eligibility

Open only to legal residents of the State of New York who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Void outside of New York and where prohibited.

Employees of Focus Group by Sago and their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and household members) are not eligible to participate.

3. Giveaway Period

The Giveaway begins on September 1, 2025, at 12:01 AM (EST) and ends on September 14, 2025, at 11:59 PM (EST).
All qualifying entries must be received within this timeframe.

4. Swag Bags

The first 200 eligible attendees at the event who provide proof of completing one of the following actions will receive a Swag Bag (nominal value):

  • Complete the survey for the first time.

  • Refer a friend using the official Giveaway form at www.joinprojecta.com.

  • Join the panel through the designated link.

  • Follow @therealprojectA on Instagram.

Proof must be shown at the event. Instagram followers are eligible for Swag Bags only, not Grand Prizes.

5. Grand Prizes

There will be three (3) Grand Prize winners:

  1. OMNY Card – One (1) winner will receive a $500 OMNY card for use on the New York City Subway system. ARV: $500.

  2. Google Pixel Tablet Bundle – One (1) winner will receive a Google Pixel Tablet with speaker dock and a one-year subscription to Pixel + Care. ARV: $759.95.

  3. Airline Gift Card – One (1) winner will receive a $1,000 gift card to the airline of their choice (subject to availability). ARV: $1,000.

Prize Conditions:

  • Prizes will be delivered by mail or electronically, or may be picked up in person at Focus Group by Sago’s New York City facility.

  • Winners must provide two methods of contact (email and cell phone). Sponsor will make multiple attempts to contact winners.

  • If a winner does not respond or provide the required documentation by October 1, 2025, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.

  • No cash equivalent, substitution, or transfer of prize is permitted.

6. Winner Selection & Verification

  • Three (3) winners will be selected in random drawings, as follows:

    1. One (1) winner from first-time survey takers.

    2. One (1) winner from Refer-a-Friend entries.

    3. One (1) winner from new panelists who joined through the designated link.

  • Winners will be contacted by email and/or cell phone on or before September 19, 2025.

  • Winners must provide a valid, government-issued photo ID to confirm age and New York residency.

  • Winners will also be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release before receiving their prize.

7. Odds of Winning

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

8. Taxes & Liability

  • All federal, state, and local taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use are the sole responsibility of the winners.

  • Winners of prizes valued at $600 or more will be required to complete and return a W-9 form and will receive an IRS Form 1099-MISC reporting the fair market value of the prize.

  • By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability, injury, loss, or damages arising from or in connection with participation in the Giveaway or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

9. Privacy & Data Use

  • By entering, participants agree that the personal information they provide may be used by Sponsor for the purposes of administering this Giveaway and for recruiting participants to Focus Group by Sago’s research panel, including related marketing communications.

  • Information will be collected, stored, and used in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at www.joinprojecta.com/faq.

  • Instagram follows do not provide Sponsor with personal contact information; therefore, Instagram followers are eligible only for Swag Bags and not for Grand Prizes.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsor, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.

Any disputes arising under or related to this Giveaway shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located within New York County, New York.
